The University of Texas Bass Team
NEWS: The Texas Bass Team Placed 2nd in the FLW's college fishing tournament series held on Lake Amistad. Congratulations to Taylor Sullivan and Jeff Benevidas! Check the reports/ results page for more info.
The Team also was able to finish 34th out of 140 boats in the Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship held on Lake Lewisville. Congratulations to Billy Waldschmidt and Travis Ledger! More information on the reports/ results page.
The University of Texas Bass Team is an organization that recruits students that love to fish, compete in bass fishing tournaments, and conserve fishing for future generations. The team practices catch and release ensuring that others will have the opportunity to catch bigger bass. We compete in National Collegiate Tournaments in Texas Boat World Sponsored Triton's. We hold qualifying tournaments to compete for Angler of the Year points. We welcome everyone, men, women, beginners, and advanced student anglers.
